Tuesday’s episode of Glee features the music of one of pop’s biggest idols, performed by one of the show’s most beloved characters, cheerleader Brittany. We’ve heard some of the Britney Spears songs that will be featured in “Britney/Brittany,” and now we get to see one of the infamous looks. But that’s not all!
In a sneak peek we see Brittany and Santana on a trip to the offices of John Stamos, D.D.S., where they demand to get hooked up with some anesthesia, ASAP (presumably to take the edge off a stressful day at Cheerios’ practice). The girls tune Dr. Uncle Jesse with the help of Ms. Spears’ “Me Against the Music” (featuring Madonna) and are transported to their own version of the music video (the magic of modern medicine!). Santana is Madonna to Brittany’s Britney, and they both do their best to look and sound the part. Don’t believe me? See for yourselves in the clip below:
Ask Ausiello has posted even more “Glee” spoilers fans can look forward to! One of the big questions answered: When will Charice (Sunshine Corazon) be back? Find out below:
I’m a Charice fan and was wondering when we’ll see her again on Glee? —Mauruce
Ausiello: Probably not until after Sectionals in January. That girls got pipes to spare!
I’ve added screen captures from the season premiere of “Glee’s second second titled, Audition. This episode introduced us to some new faces: Sunshine Corazon, Coach Beiste and Sam Evans. Head over to the gallery for all the latest additions.

As if the highly anticipated return of Fox’s Glee tomorrow night weren’t giddy-good enough, I can now confirm to you this fantastic casting news: Gwyneth Paltrow is in discussions to come on the show! She’s going to sing. And dance. And many of you fans are going to completely freak out when you hear who she might be playing:
Gwyneth will be a love interest of sorts for Matthew Morrison’s character, Will Schuester.
According to rock-solid Glee sources, Gwyneth would play a substitute teacher in two episodes airing in November. Mr. Schuester gets sick, so Gwyneth’s character steps in and takes over the glee club. The kids love her, and Will starts to fall for her…complicating his relationship with Emma (Jayma Mays).
(We’ll pause while you diehard Will and Emma fans breathe into a paper bag.)
I’m told Glee creator/executive producer/creative badass Ryan Murphy wrote this role expressly for Gwyneth, as the two are friends. If it all comes together, Ryan will be directing her first episode, which begins shooting in two weeks. Gwyneth also sings in a movie called Country Strong, which opens in December and is already garnering strong Oscar buzz. And of course, she’s no stranger to the Academy Awards, having already won one, along with that other Glee guest star who is in the works: Javier Bardem.
Hear that? It’s the sound of Sue Sylvester body-slamming a student into a locker upon hearing that someone more famous than her might be coming to McKinley High. Of course, everyone else has good cause to celebrate with some serious jazz hands, ’cause Glee’s second season just keeps sounding better and better. I’ve seen tomorrow night’s premiere episode and can tell you it does not disappoint.
Anyone else looking forward to Glee’s return? And what do you think about Gwyneth sharing some screen time with Matthew? Jayma, girl, time to take off your earrings… (Source)
E! Online has posted some new spoilers fans can look forward to this upcoming season of “Glee.” And remember, “Glee” is back with all new episodes starting tomorrow, September 21st on FOX.
Melody: The Glee premiere is tomorrow! Spill!
Chord Overstreet is dreamy as the new football player Sam Evans (Sam and Dianna Agron’s Quinn are going to make gorgeous blond babies together!); there’s an unholy alliance between Sue and Will; and the Lea Michele-Charice diva-off is not to be missed! Oh, and Ken Tanaka had a nervous breakdown, while Matt (aka co-president of the background dancers union) transferred, Brittany’s blank-faced one-liners are better than ever, and we absolutely love the backstory on Tina’s hookup with Mike Chang. It’s a great season premiere. You guys will love.
Jaqueline in Athens, Ga.: What’s the 411 on Kristin Chenoweth’s return to Glee?
April Rhodes is on her way back to McKinley High and a little birdie we like to call Kristin Chenoweth tells us we’re in for a nearly nude treat! “I’m going back in two weeks to do Glee. I did hear April will be stripping and it made me nervous—made me not want to eat.” Just don’t expect any smooth moves on the stripper pole. Says Kristin: “I’m not going to practice it either because I don’t think April would know how!”

They may be one of the most popular bands in the country, but don’t expect to hear the Red Hot Chili Peppers on the uber-popular Fox show, Glee, any time soon! Not only is the lead singer, Anthony Kiedis, completely against the idea, but he doesn’t even know what Glee really IS. Ouch!
“Honestly, I don’t know about Glee,” the 47-year-old lead singer told HollywoodLife.com exclusively at the Surfrider Foundation fundraiser in Malibu, Calif. Sept. 11. “I’ve seen a picture of the Glee thing, but I don’t know what it is really.”
After being described what the award-winning musical show is to him, Anthony STILL wasn’t into the idea of letting Cory Monteith, Matthew Morrison & co. sing his tunes.
“Generally speaking, that doesn’t excite me,” he admitted. “Nothing against Glee or any of those American Idol type shows, but you know … music that is near and dear to our hearts and the people we wrote it for and play it for, it doesn’t make sense to be seen in a television format. It seems emotionally displaced.”
Anthony isn’t the first one to say no to being on the hit Fox show — Kings of Leon very publicly “refused to sell out” to Glee as well. Lady Gaga, Madonna and Queen have all lent their work…do YOU think RHCP is making a mistake? (Source)
